The goal was to create a multi use hair & clothing accessory, designed to secure with comfort, and to inspire creativity with daily uses.

Designed and made in Australia. HEKTUX is based in the beautiful Margaret River region of Western Australia. 

HEKTUX the hair tie was built to end the hectic moment you feel when you need a quick, out of the way hair solution with comfort and style. 

THE OLD

Most claw clips are headache inducing, bulky, and some look almost terrifying ! Elastics break, scrunchies can date an outfit, absorb moisture, and need constant washing, hair pins and clips dig in and are easily misplaced.

HEKTUX is a hair tie that actually works with your hair - not against it.

No crease, no head pressure, it feels very different to wear. Relaxed !!

HEKTUX uses a premium silicone-based material that moves with your hair and also works perfectly for fabric so if you love to create new styles from your existing wardrobe HEKTUX works wonders. The sleek, comfortable design enables it to be worn hidden or on show. Great for shortening tops , half tucks, cinching in, scarves and fabrics.
